Up Election 2017: 7th phase or last phase Election for 40 Seats

Grand finale to the staggered UP assembly polls as the seventh and the last phase covering 40 seats will be held in tomorrow.The prime focus on the Prime Minister’s Lok Sabha constituencVaranasi.There is three Naxal affected districts of Sonbhadra,Mirzapur and chandauli.
In these seven district, there is tight security  in last phase of UP election in Ghazipur, Jaunapur, Bhadoi and other districts.
The polling will held between 7AM to 5PM  on the 11th march and the naxal-affected area Chakia,Robertsganj, and Duddhi polling will end at 4PM.
In this phase, Total 1.41 crore voters will vote,Where 64.76 Lack women,
There is 32 seats of BJP and its allies the Apna Dal and the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party are contesting  on 4 seats each.The BSP has its nominees for all seats while the SP contesting 31 seats,its ally the congress is in race for the remaining seats.
In the 2012 assembly polls ,total 40 seats,23 went to the Sp,5 BSP, 4 BJP , 3 to the congress ans 5 others.In all,535 candidates including 40(BSP), 32(BJP), 31(SP), 9(congress), 21 (RLD) and 5(NCP) in the fray.
Maximum number of candidates 24 from Varanasi cantt, and minimum number of candidates 6 from kerakat(sc).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent 3 days in Varanasi, where he held roadshow,visited temple and attend a number of public events.Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and vice-president of congress Rahul Gandhi also matched it with their own campaign.
BSP chief Mayawati seeking also addressed rally in rohaniya,around 20 km of varanasi while Akhilesh wife’s Dimple held a roadshow in kashi.PM Modi arrived in the city and paid obesisance at the kashi Vishwanath and Kal Bhairav temples with much fanfare.
Polling in a Alapur seat will be held on Thursday.
The election commission has also postponed telecast of exit polls till 5:30 PM on Thursday,keeping this polling in mind.
