MCD Election 2017: Amit Shah unhealthy, Smriti Irani made public in Delhi

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari said during the campaign, “We are moving towards winning more than 200 seats in municipal elections.” He said, “MCD elections are semi-final before the next assembly elections in Delhi in 2020 . Assembly elections can happen in the country before the 2019 general elections.It is to be noted that the elections for 272 wards of the three municipal corporations in Delhi are to be held on April 23 and the counting of votes will be on April 26. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its internal survey on Thursday for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections. AAP has claimed on the basis of the survey that in these elections, the Aam Aadmi Party is going to win 218 wards out of 272 while BJP can get 39 and Congress 8 seats. Independents and others can get 7 seats.
While campaigning for BJP candidates in the north-west Delhi’s famine, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has attacked the Kejriwal government and accused him of “obstructing” the functioning of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. He said that the government has made MCD poor by not paying the dues of 9,000 crore rupees. Rajnath said that the Aam Aadmi Party has lost the “moral authority” of making allegations against three municipal corporations.
