Kendriya Vidyalaya has announced the notification for admission in
Kendriya Vidyalaya for session 2019-20. For this announcement lot of candidates and their parents are waiting to this announcement. The registration will be start from 1st March 2019 for standard one that will be continue till 19th March evening 4 o’clock. We are going to update below a link which will be help you to gain important details in depth. The selection list for admission in standard one will be released on 26th March and second selection list will announced on 08th April. If the the seats will left than the Vidyalaya will release 3rd selection list for candidates on 23rd April.

Important Notice – KVS has declared the Schedule for admission in session 2019-20. KVS Class 1 Admission – From 1st March 2019 Class 2 to 12 (Except 11th) – 2nd April 2019 Class 11th Admission – After 10 Days of the Board Exam Results.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will start the application process for all classes except 11th from 02nd April which will be continue till 9th of April 2019. Eligibility For Admission

A child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. (Child Born on 1st April Should also be Considered).

Note:- The Maximum age limit can be relaxed by two years in case of differently able children by the principle.

There is no age restriction for admission to class XI provided the students is seeking admission in the year of passing class X examination. Similarly, there will be no upper & lower age limit for admission to class XII provided there has been no break in the continuously of the students after passing class XI.

Special Provisions for Admission

  • The children and dependent grandchildren of Hon’ble Members of Parliament.
  • Children and grandchildren (Children of Son or daughter) of Serving and retired KVS employees.
  • Children of central Government employees who die in harness

Required Documents

  • For Class I, The candidates must have age certificate,
  • For grandchildren of Hon’ble member of parliament and PSU employees a proof of relationship of either of the child’s parents with the hon’ble member.
  • For grandchildren of KVS employees a proof of relationship of either of the child’s parent with the KVS employee (serving or retired) would be required.
  • Casts Certificate of Children.
  • A Certificate of retirement fro uniformed Defence employees.
  • Proof of Residence.

Admission Methods for Class I

Out of the available seats of fresh admission 15% will be reserved for SC and 7.5% will be reserved for ST. The short fall in the number of seats reserved for SC and ST, will be worked out after considering number of SC/ST children admitted under RTE quota.

  • In First Phase:– 10 seats (Out of 40 seats) in class I per section ae to be filled as per RTE provisions (25% of seats) and these 10 seats will be filled by draw of lots from all applicants of SC/ST/EWS/BPL/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) who are the resident of neighborhood /differently able taken together.
  • In Second Phase:- Remaining seats are to be filled as per exciting priority category system. The short fall in the seats reserved for SC/ST, If any shall be made good by admitting SC/ST applicants.
